About the Role
HBSPL is looking for a Python Developer to help build and maintain software applications using Python and related technologies. The role includes developing backend services, working with databases, integrating APIs, and fixing technical issues. You will work with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver reliable applications and improve existing software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Python and suitable programming frameworks.
- Write clean, reusable code and follow good software development practices.
- Build REST APIs and backend services using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Work with SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL, to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
- Test applications, debug errors, and resolve issues that affect functionality or performance.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Use Git and related tools to track code changes and support team development.
- Assist with application integration, deployment, maintenance, and technical documentation.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of Python fundamentals, including data types, functions, modules, and exception handling.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and basic algorithms.
- Familiarity with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or other Python development frameworks.
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON data formats.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, debugging, and unit testing tools such as PyTest or unittest.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
- Exposure to Linux, cloud platforms, Docker, or CI/CD tools is beneficial.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Python certifications, academic projects, internships, or practical programming experience will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Freshers: Candidates with Python fundamentals, academic projects, internships, or practical coding experience can apply.
- Experienced Professionals: Previous experience in Python development, backend development, API integration, or web application development is preferred.
