About the Frontend Developer Role
HBSPL is looking for a Frontend Developer to build responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing web applications. The role involves developing interactive user interfaces, improving website performance, and ensuring a consistent experience across different devices and browsers. Candidates will work with modern web technologies, collaborate with design and development teams, and contribute to creating reliable digital solutions that meet user and business requirements.
This opportunity is suitable for entry-level candidates with a strong foundation in frontend development as well as experienced professionals who can contribute their technical knowledge to web application projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop User Interfaces: Build responsive and interactive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Implement Designs: Convert UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional web interfaces while maintaining visual consistency.
- Ensure Responsiveness: Optimize websites for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices across different screen sizes.
- Improve Performance: Identify and resolve frontend issues, optimize loading speed, and improve application responsiveness.
- Integrate APIs: Connect frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services to display and manage dynamic data.
- Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while following development standards and best practices.
- Test and Debug: Identify browser compatibility issues, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure smooth application functionality.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with UI/UX designers, backend developers, testers, and other team members to deliver quality applications.
- Maintain Existing Applications: Update frontend components, fix reported issues, and implement improvements based on project requirements.
- Follow Development Practices: Use version control tools, participate in code reviews, and support continuous improvement throughout the development process.
Required Skills for Frontend Developer
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for developing modern web interfaces.
- Understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility fundamentals.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks or libraries such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of REST API integration, JSON, and client-server communication.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools, debugging, and frontend testing.
- Understanding of website performance optimization and reusable component development.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
Education Qualification
A bachelor’s degree in BE, B.Sc and B.Tech or a related field is preferred. Candidates with relevant technical training, practical projects, or demonstrable frontend development skills may also be considered.
Experience
Freshers with a solid foundation in JavaScript and web development can apply. Candidates with prior experience in MERN Stack development, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB are also encouraged to apply.
