About the Role
HBSPL is looking for a QA Manual Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications through manual testing. The role involves analyzing requirements, preparing test cases, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and verifying fixes to ensure applications meet business and user expectations. The candidate will collaborate with developers and other team members to deliver stable, high-quality software products.
Roles & Responsibilities Of QA Manual Tester
- Analyze business requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
- Retest resolved issues and verify bug fixes.
- Maintain test documentation and prepare testing reports.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards and project requirements.
Required Skills
- Understanding of software testing principles and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case preparation.
- Familiarity with functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze requirements and identify potential issues.
- Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Entry-level candidates with a strong understanding of software testing principles and QA fundamentals can apply. Candidates with prior experience in manual testing, test case design, defect tracking, or software quality assurance are also encouraged to apply.
