About the Role
HBSPL is looking for a creative Video Editor to produce engaging and high-quality video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and business communications. The role involves editing raw footage, adding transitions, effects, animations, and audio elements, and ensuring that every video meets project requirements and brand guidelines. The candidate will collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to transform creative ideas into compelling visual stories. A good understanding of video editing tools, visual storytelling, and current digital content trends is essential for this role.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging and high-quality videos for digital platforms and marketing campaigns.
- Add transitions, effects, animations, subtitles, and audio elements to enhance video quality.
- Ensure proper video pacing, sequencing, colour correction, and sound synchronization.
- Create videos suitable for social media, websites, promotional campaigns, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements.
- Review edited videos, incorporate feedback, and deliver final content within deadlines.
- Organize video files, maintain project assets, and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on video editing techniques, creative trends, and digital content formats.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Understanding of video editing techniques, transitions, visual effects, and audio synchronization.
- Basic knowledge of colour correction, colour grading, and motion graphics.
- Ability to create videos in different formats and aspect ratios for various digital platforms.
- Understanding of visual storytelling, timing, and content presentation.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and strong time-management skills.
- Ability to understand feedback and work collaboratively with team members.
- A portfolio showcasing video editing projects is an advantage.
Education Qualification
A degree or diploma in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Animation, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with relevant practical skills and a strong portfolio may also apply.
Experience
Candidates beginning their careers with creativity and basic video editing skills are welcome to apply. Professionals with experience in footage editing, visual effects, animation, or multimedia production are also encouraged to apply.
