About the Role
HBSPL is looking for a Data Analyst to analyze business data, identify trends, and generate actionable data insights. The role involves data analysis, SQL querying, reporting, data visualization, and dashboard development to support business decisions.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of SQL, Excel, data analytics, business intelligence, and visualization tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Both fresh graduates with relevant skills and candidates with prior Data Analytics experience can apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources for Data Analysis.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, KPIs, and business insights.
- Write SQL queries to extract, filter, and analyze data from databases.
- Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to maintain data accuracy and quality.
- Work with business teams to understand data requirements, business metrics, and reporting needs.
- Prepare regular business reports, performance analysis, and KPI reports to support decision-making.
- Present data insights and analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
Candidates should have knowledge or hands-on experience in:
- SQL and Database Concepts
- Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis
- Python or R for Data Analytics
- Data Cleaning, Transformation, and Validation
- Data Visualization and Reporting
- Power BI, Tableau, or other BI Tools
- Basic Statistics and Statistical Analysis
- KPIs, Business Metrics, and Performance Analysis
- Business Intelligence and Data Reporting
- Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving
- Communication and Presentation Skills
Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, ETL concepts, or basic Machine Learning is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or practical projects in Data Analytics, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or related tools will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Freshers: Relevant academic projects, internships, certifications, or hands-on exposure to Data Analytics, SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Experienced Professionals: Experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, SQL, Reporting, or Data Visualization is preferred.
