Role Overview
As a Java Developer at HBSPL, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to build scalable Java-based applications and RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth data flow between server and client. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code, working with databases, and optimizing application performance to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Assist in deploying applications and maintaining production environments
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Basic knowledge of authentication and security (JWT, OAuth).
- Understanding of debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
Eligibility Criteria
- Fresher graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in Java Developer.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Java programming concepts, OOP and backend development.
- Passion for building scalable applications and solving real-world problems.
Work Location
- Chennai/Coimbatore/Salem/Trichy/Bangalore (Hybrid Work Model – Mix of Office and Remote).
Compensation
- CTC: ₹4 LPA – ₹10 LPA (based on skills and experience).
