About the Role
HBSPL is looking for an experienced Technical Architect / IT Technical Architect to lead software architecture, system design, cloud architecture, and enterprise technology initiatives. This Technical Architect role involves designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions while working with engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams.
The Technical Architect will work across application architecture, cloud infrastructure, integrations, data, and engineering practices. The role also involves guiding development teams, reviewing technical decisions, and ensuring that solutions are designed with long-term business and technology goals in mind.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise applications, digital platforms, and complex technology solutions.
- Convert business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical designs.
- Establish architecture standards and design application components, APIs, microservices, databases, and system integrations.
- Evaluate existing systems and technology stacks, recommending modernization, optimization, and suitable frameworks or platforms.
- Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, security concerns, and integration dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and business teams to guide implementation, deployment, and technical decisions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while driving improvements in architecture, development practices, system performance, and engineering processes.
Required Skills
Candidates should have strong technical expertise in:
- Software Architecture, Enterprise Application Design, and System Design
- Distributed Systems, Microservices, and Design Patterns
- RESTful APIs, Third-Party Integrations, and Service-Oriented Architecture
- Database Architecture, SQL, and Data Modelling
- AWS / Azure / Google Cloud and Cloud Architecture
- CI/CD, DevOps, Git, and Version Control
- Application Security, Scalability, High Availability, and Performance Optimization
- Docker, Kubernetes, and Containerized Application Development
- Architecture Documentation and Technical Design
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical decision-making skills
Exposure to event-driven architecture, message brokers, serverless technologies, API gateways, observability, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native development will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BE, B.Tech and B.Sc or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications in Cloud, Architecture, DevOps, or enterprise technologies will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Technical Architecture, Software Architecture, and System Design.
- Proven expertise in Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Applications, integrations, and technical leadership for scalable and secure solutions.
